Description
The fantastic view looking to the North Bank from the South Bank in London is both breathtaking and fascinating from an architectural perspective; showing landmark buildings both old and new.
The original idea was to take one image of the North Bank and to reproduce this in a pop art style changing colour in each image. There was difficulty in choosing one view, so the artist has photographed the walk along the Thames. Each image has been graphically manipulated to create an unrealistic scene in terms of colour.
In each photograph the iconic St Paul’s Cathedral is evident.
Graphic manipulation has been used to create an almost animated style image. The piece is an edition of 30 which are hand crafted and constructed by the artist.
The overall artistic aim is to create a composition that enhances and invigorates the senses through colour.
